About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant for Clinical Trials to join our team at Vitreoretinal Surgery PLLC in Edina, MN.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling subject visits within study-specific windows per protocol guidelines. They will also prepare visit-specific documentation and charts for Clinical Research Coordinators, observe coordinators in patient care and management, and assist with monitoring subject flow and subject care and management.

Additionally, the research assistant will transcribe subject study information from source documents to Electronic Case Report Forms, administer all mandatory questionnaires to study subjects, set up, prepare subjects, and conduct electrocardiograms (ECG) on subjects as required per study protocol.

Requirements
  • Applicants MUST be personally motivated to provide excellent patient care.
  • 1+ years of clinical trials research assistant experience in a retina or general ophthalmology environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Be an excellent team player who works cooperatively and respectfully with all doctors, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Displays a desire to perpetually "Learn and Grow".
  • Efficient and highly accurate user of applicable information technology and healthcare management systems.
