Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Systems Engineer with a strong background in systems engineering principles, practices, and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contributing to the development of systems engineering documentation, performing technical analysis, and leading systems engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Perform technical analysis of alternatives for projects and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Assist in developing new or innovative approaches to technical or engineering issues.
  • Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for projects.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on projects.
  • Lead contractor systems engineering activities for projects, including supervising project engineering staff and technicians.
  • Independently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for projects.
  • Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of projects.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Four (4) years of additional system engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • A Master's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
