Precision Surface Grinder Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Grinding Machinist to join our team in Stow, OH. This full-time position includes operating precision surface grinding equipment and performing various grinding procedures to meet specifications.

As a Precision Surface Grinder at SPIROL, you will be responsible for:

• Operating precision surface grinders to remove material from production parts.
• Reading and understanding blueprints, including symbols, specifications, and dimensional limitations.
• Using inspection gauges and tools, such as micrometers and calipers.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience using production grinding equipment and possess excellent reading comprehension skills.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have at least three years of prior experience using production grinding equipment.
• Be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Have knowledge and skills to use a computer and other related technology.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, prints, and production routings.
• Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment.
• Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals, and coordinate activities in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• No sitting, lifting, or bending restrictions; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
