Emergency Department Nurse Specialist

Las Palmas Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in El Paso, Texas, offering a range of services including emergency care with a Level III trauma center, cardiac care, women's services, pediatric care and NICU, cancer care, and more. Our hospital is part of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, which is part of HCA Healthcare.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an emergency department setting. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
You will also be required to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will need to have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Requirements:
- Associate's Degree - Nursing or BSN
- Current Texas Registered Nursing license or identified compact state license - Required Upon Hire
- BLS - Required within 30 days
- ALS - Required Within 6 Months of Hire
- ENPC - Required Within 12 Months of Hire
- TNCC or ATCN - Required Within 12 Months of Hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Required Within 60 Days of Hire and Annually
