About the Role



We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Bohemia, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, adjusting, and repairing a wide range of communication equipment, including radio and antenna systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair communication equipment, such as radios and antennas.
  • Utilize test equipment to perform proper installation or repair.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and contractors independently and professionally.
  • Provide on-the-job training to Associate Field Service Technicians.
  • Maintain SIDA badging for access to certain Federally regulated areas at multiple airports.
  • Lift and carry heavy objects and climb towers and stepped poles up to 50 feet in height.


What You Will Learn:



In this role, you will gain experience and knowledge in supporting nationwide Air-to-Ground voice and data networks and custom communication solutions. You will learn how to analyze system failures and identify and restore equipment malfunctions and failures.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
* Completed course in practical electronics or minimum of two years of practical electronics experience
* Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Salary Range



The estimated salary range for this role is $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. However, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
