Transportation Construction Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Construction Inspector to join our team at TranSystems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct quality control testing on highway materials to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers and managers to receive instructions and assignments.
- Complete daily reports and work sheets to document inspection activities.
- Participate in daily huddles with field staff to discuss project progress and address any issues.
- At least one year of experience as a Technical Assistant 2 or equivalent.
- Two years of transportation construction inspection experience and a High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
- Four years of highway/building trades, construction, inspection, or design experience and a High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
- Associate Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one year of experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to engage multiple perspectives when solving problems.
