Aviation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport/Civil Engineer to join our team in Ebensburg, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and rehabilitating airport and civil infrastructure
• Preparing design calculations, construction documents, specifications, and estimates
• Providing construction inspection services
• Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in reading plans and shop drawings, evaluating contractor compliance, and performing construction inspection services
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other AutoCAD-related software
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel within the continental United States

We prefer candidates with:

• A highway or general civil engineering background
• Experience with airport, highway, or civil engineering design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• PennDOT Highway or General Civil consulting and/or construction services experience
• Current Professional Civil Engineer or the capability to obtain a Pennsylvania Civil Professional Engineer's License within 24 months
