We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educational leader to join our team as a part-time lecturer at Sonoma State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses and collaborating with colleagues in the Administrative Services Credential Program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses and develop curriculum in educational leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement educational programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
- Supervise and coach prospective school administrators and interns
- Participate in academic advising, program design, assessment, and accreditation
- Master's degree or higher in education or a related field
- Three years of experience working as a school or district administrator
- Knowledge of current theory, equity, and social justice issues in educational leadership
- Leadership experience in addressing the needs of diverse linguistic, cultural, and economic backgrounds
- Expertise in organizational theory, school reform, curriculum and learning theory, and/or educational administration
- Experience in mentoring school administrators in pre-service and in-service programs
- University-level teaching experience
- Bilingual Spanish (oral and written)
