Sonoma State University is seeking a highly qualified Part-time Lecturer AY to join our University Studies Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our University Studies courses.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching and mentoring students in University Studies courses
- Developing and implementing course materials and assessments
- Providing academic support and guidance to students
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement departmental initiatives
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A minimum MA/MS or equivalent degree in a field related to the disciplinary content of the course
- Demonstrated experience teaching and mentoring students
- Training in and/or experience with equitable and inclusive teaching pedagogies
