Job Summary
As a Cashier at Luby's, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your key responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling cash transactions accurately, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Provide information about menu items and promote daily specials and additional menu items
• Upsell and promote additional menu items to increase sales and revenue

Requirements
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash transactions
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Ability to provide information about menu items and promote daily specials and additional menu items
• Ability to upsell and promote additional menu items to increase sales and revenue
