Job Summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology team. As a member of our team, you will work alongside EP Cardiologists and Registered Nurses to deliver direct patient care before, during, and after interventional/diagnostic cath lab and EP cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function in all three roles (scrub, circulator assist, and recorder) in all interventional/diagnostic cath lab cases
  • Operate equipment in the cath lab
  • Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cases

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Health Science (cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or ultrasound)
  • 1 year of cardiac cath/EP lab experience preferred
  • Must be certified as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Cardiac Interventional Radiographer (CI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiographer (CV), or Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI)
  • ACLS/PALS/BLS within one year of hire

Work Environment:

Full-Time, Day shift, 7a-5:30p (4-10 hour shifts per week), Weekend work and call is required.

Compensation:

Minimum $32.71 per hour - Maximum $52.34 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
