Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electronic problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical certification, and at least four years of relevant work experience. You should also have basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. ASE certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics, or ASE Master Mechanic is preferred.

Responsibilities: As a Heavy Duty Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance">
  • Diagnostics and repairs of complex mechanical and electronic problems">
  • Utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable">
  • Interacting with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint">
  • Instructing and advising other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics">
  • Coaching/Mentoring other level technicians">
  • Advise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs">
  • Works in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)">
