Position: UI Engineer (React and Node)

Contract Duration: 12+ months

Applicants must have recent experience with a publicly traded organization and a minimum tenure of 1.5 years with that employer. Other candidates will not be considered.

Role Overview:
  • Develop high-performance Single Page Applications (SPAs) utilizing React, Redux, NX, React Query, GraphQL, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS3.
  • Proficient in testing frameworks such as React Testing Library and Jest.
  • Comprehend the Business, Customer, and Technical requirements, assisting in the evaluation of existing solutions to meet these needs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production applications using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace to identify root causes and resolve issues.
  • Enhance software quality by adhering to industry best practices regarding code quality, accessibility, and usability.
  • Support the selection of suitable programming languages, development standards, and tools for software development/configuration.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and designing solutions deployed on Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Collaborate with fellow software engineers and teams to enhance performance, stability, and resource efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies during the development/configuration of components/applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Execute test cases to validate code and identify errors and defects across the entire component.
  • Track and analyze defects for the component/module and conduct regression testing to rectify issues across all instances of code modifications.
  • Engage in the discovery phase of small to medium projects to develop a high-level design in partnership with product management, Web Operations, project management, business, and user experience teams.
  • Utilize performance tuning and analytics tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor and address frontend performance challenges, proposing solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Establish and maintain continuous integration and deployment systems using Jenkins and Git.
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques, understanding SEO principles, and familiarity with modern debugging skills.
