  • Engages with clients in a polite, professional, and welcoming manner to assess their requirements. Offers the necessary products or refers them to the appropriate departments within the bank to provide solutions for their needs.
  • Skilled in all teller functions and delivers customer support at the teller counter as needed.
  • Handles IRA distributions and sales, ensuring to stay updated on changes by participating in IRA training sessions.
  • Processes debit card requests, including activation, closure, deletion, and hot carding, while addressing customer inquiries and conducting reviews.
  • Connects clients to Online Banking and other Retail Technological Solutions, assisting with related banking concerns.
  • Maintains risk-related documentation, including dormant, negative, and write-off accounts, as well as managing Money Service Business, Cash Management, Merchant Source Capture, and Consumer Source Capture clients.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: (10%)
  • Fosters relationships with fellow bank employees to promote teamwork.
  • Represents the bank at various community and civic events.
  • Participates in Retail meetings, adheres to compliance protocols, and engages in required training sessions.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Customer service and/or retail cashier experience preferred. Previous banking experience is advantageous.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is primarily conducted within the bank, with minimal risk of personal injury. The role requires prolonged mental and visual focus. Occasional stressful situations may arise due to multiple priorities and deadlines. Standard working hours align with normal business operations, though unscheduled evening and weekend work may be necessary to accommodate client and employee needs. Some travel may be required, including overnight stays. Weekend work may also be necessary. The ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds of office supplies and equipment is required, along with some bending, turning, and twisting.
