Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Client Specialist to join our team at Robert W. Baird & Co. As a Client Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and operational support to our Financial Advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new clients, including managing prospect pipelines, assisting with proposal generation, and preparing new account paperwork.
  • Operational Support: Provide administrative support to Financial Advisors, including scheduling appointments, assembling materials for client meetings, and maintaining client records.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Business Development: Assist Financial Advisors in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow their client base.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to firm and industry regulatory policies, maintaining client confidentiality, and understanding compliance regulations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses or be willing to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workflow and achieve specific goals in a timely manner.
