Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our CVICU team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entries in patient records and hospital documents.
  • Work effectively with other staff members to provide direction to non-nursing personnel, participate in educational programs, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or compact RN license.
  • At least two years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in ICU or CCU.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
