Overview of the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As a critical care specialist, you will provide expert patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

With a focus on delivering high-quality care, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to treatment. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Our hospital offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience, to support your professional growth and development. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer opportunities for advancement, continuing education, and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with neurological, pulmonary, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements
  • Current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Two years of ICU/CCU experience or successful completion of an ICU/CCU Residency program and one year of experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
