Job Title: Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Vallarta Supermarkets. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing various types of meat for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting and preparing meat for display and sale
  • Operating meat cutting equipment, such as knives and band saws
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
  • Working effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience working in a meat department
  • 2 years of experience working with meat equipment, tools, and machinery
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store
  • Ability to work in refrigerated coolers and around humidity for short periods of time
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of English language
