As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and compassionate group of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a RN with at least 2 years of NICU experience to join our team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for critically ill newborns and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a RN in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Care for critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide emergency care as needed
- Provide family support and education to help them navigate the NICU experience
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- RN degree from an accredited nursing program
- NJ RN license
- At least 2 years of NICU experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP certification
