Akron Children's Hospital seeks a highly experienced and accomplished Pediatric Psychology Research Leader to serve as the Director of Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health Research. This esteemed position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and industry partners, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and transforming the field of child and adolescent mental/behavioral, developmental, and substance use conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing our understanding of complex child and adolescent emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental conditions and contribute to the development of innovative diagnostic tools and treatment strategies. This individual will lead evidence-based programs and clinical staff, oversee grant writing and research initiatives, and collaborate with industry partners to develop cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements:

  • PhD or PsyD , ABPP certification required
  • Demonstrated experience contributing and overseeing evidence-based programs and clinical staff
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing and conducting research, preferred
