Physician - Hospitalist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician - Hospitalist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills
- Respond to all code blue/rapid response calls; ability to perform procedures if desired
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization
- Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules
St. Elizabeth Hospital is a newly renovated facility with a state-of-the-art 90-bed patient tower. Our hospital is equipped with a full complement of sub-specialists on staff, including cardiology, pulmonary/critical care, gastroenterology, renal, and surgical services.
