Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at SPIROL Stow, Ohio. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects, coordinating with customers, and supporting day-to-day Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance our Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure our products meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing Teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain and improve our Quality Management System to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
Requirements:
  • Engineering or technical degree/background.
  • 2+ years of experience in metals manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret product, technical, and/or contract information.
  • Knowledge of QA systems and standard operating procedures for IATF16949, AS9100, Nadcap, and ISO9001 certifications.
