Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

At Sevita, we believe that every individual deserves to live a full and independent life. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to live as independently as possible
  • Transport individuals to community settings, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist individuals to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing for at least a year
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
