Rose International is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician - Flavor Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Flavor QC team, you will be responsible for performing chemical and physical testing on submitted flavor and beverage samples using standard and other detailed methods of analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Analysis: Perform chemical and physical testing on submitted flavor and beverage samples using standard and other detailed methods of analysis.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare and maintain chemicals, chemical solutions, sample dilutions as needed for performance of analysis.
  • Lab Safety and Compliance: Follow appropriate GLP and lab safety protocols.
  • Sample Management: Open sample boxes, receive samples in LIMS system, and pair flavor samples with appropriate controls.
  • Sample Storage: Return samples and controls to refrigerator and archive flavor samples using a barcode scanner for long-term storage.
  • Sensory Panels: Set up sensory panels for QC analysis.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist Global Flavor QC team and Core Analytical team as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: BS Degree in Chemistry/Biology
  • Skills: Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Organizational skills, Good collaboration and communication skills, Detail-oriented
