We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Med/Surg team at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford. Responsibilities- Contribute to the assessment of patients and ensure their well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within one month of hire date.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse certification from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition is required prior to hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing is required.
