Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various clerical and routine office duties, including conducting surveys and writing reports.
  • Handle public inquiries and relieve sworn officers of non-sworn police officer duties.
  • Operate public safety communication equipment.
  • Perform janitorial duties, which may include kennel maintenance depending on assignment.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or equivalent GED.
  • Ability to work a maximum of 19 hours per week, with the possibility of working various hours, shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Valid California Class C Driver's License and a reasonable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, including a fingerprint and criminal history check, and a polygraph examination.
