We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their home environment. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will work closely with our team to implement and maintain a professional and caring relationship with all clients.

About the Role:

\

This is a part-time position, working weekends only. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct supervision and daily care, planning and participating in activities outlined in the care plan, and attending weekly team meetings and completing in-service hours annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provides direct supervision and daily care of clients primarily in their home environment\
  • Implements and maintains a professional and caring relationship with all clients\
  • Plans and participates in activities with the clients as outlined in the care plan\
  • Attends and actively participates in weekly team meetings, group supervision, and completes in-service hours annually as required by state regulations\
  • Maintains a professional, courteous, and helpful relationship with clients' family and other primary social supporters\
  • Adheres to Stay Graceful Standard Operations Procedures and South Dakota State Regulations/Administrational Rules relating to home care\
  • Assures all clients, coworkers, and family members are treated equally and with respect\
  • Responsible for the quality of services and completion of necessary home care duties and related training including CPR training, First Aid training, and training in life skills and other care techniques\
  • Daily care support may include assisting clients in household cleaning, laundry, cooking meals, grocery shopping, communicating with family and friends, and personal grooming\
  • Completes and/or assures completion of necessary documentation and reports by the work day\
  • Knowledgeable and reflect Stay Graceful Mission Statement, Core Values, and Vision Statement\
  • Each Home Care Provider is expected to meet the Stay Graceful Code of Conduct, Professionalism, and Ethics\

Salary:

\

The estimated salary for this role is $42,000 - $52,000 per year, based on experience.

\

Requirements:

No degree required; applicable experience strongly preferred in Human Services or a related field.

\

All candidates must have (or qualify to obtain) a current South Dakota driver's license, proof of insurance, and be cleared through the Division of Criminal Investigation.
