Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical guidance to a full-stack engineering group of 4-5 engineers, promoting technical expertise and professional development.
  • Define the technical strategy to fulfill the team's roadmap by outlining project scopes and identifying potential technical enhancements.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and technical coherence.
  • Provide technical insights and feedback on initiatives that span multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to craft solutions that meet the needs of our largest clients while aligning with business goals.
  • Mentor and elevate the skills of engineers through collaborative coding, code evaluations, and team discussions to foster technical excellence.
  • Represent the engineering perspective in discussions regarding roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on full-stack engineering.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, React).
  • Passionate about mentoring engineers of varying experience levels and fostering a collaborative and psychologically safe environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with stakeholders, including Product Management, Design, and Data Science, to manage risks, make trade-offs, and align on long-term objectives.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to and nurturing an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and grow.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our mission. Our approach to compensation is designed to ensure fairness and equity, and we conduct regular audits to maintain this commitment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is between $202,000 - $258,000, with actual salaries varying based on market conditions and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process. This range serves as a guideline and may be adjusted.
