Employment Type: Full Time - Weekend Shifts Required - Must be 18 Years Old

The House Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest rooms are meticulously prepared and inviting, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This position involves assisting the housekeeping team with cleaning duties, laundry operations, and maintaining overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate stock levels in the storeroom upon arrival and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Support Room Attendants by removing used linens and trash.
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and making beds as required.
  • Transport soiled linens from vacated rooms to the laundry area.
  • Deliver clean linens from the laundry to the storerooms.
  • Maintain storerooms in a clean, organized, and trash-free condition.
  • Provide guest room items such as irons, ironing boards, and cribs upon request.
  • Operate waste management equipment, including trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Return any previously used guest items found in rooms or hallways to storage.
  • Communicate with management regarding any special requests or additional duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or general cleaning roles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to climb multiple flights of stairs daily and walk frequently.
  • Able to work with cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
