Compensation: $15.50 per hour

At Great Wolf Lodge, the Aquatic Safety Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our guests and their families at our waterpark facilities. Our trained professionals are equipped to handle any situation, ensuring a secure and entertaining atmosphere for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and oversee swimmers and guests during operational hours, special events, and training sessions.
  • React promptly to emergencies within the designated area.
  • Assist in communicating emergency situations beyond the assigned zone.
  • Provide and coordinate emergency first aid as required.
  • Enforce waterpark rules and regulations.
  • Report unsafe and unsanitary conditions to aquatics management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily maintenance and upkeep of the waterpark to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Operate within the standards set by Ellis Certification.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in First Aid, CPR, or AED.
  • Prior lifeguard training or experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to swim 50 yards in 4 ft. of water and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the pool bottom.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with prolonged exposure to hot and humid conditions.
  • Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs.
  • Vision requirements of a minimum of 20/25 corrected or uncorrected vision without permanent eye abnormalities.
