Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring logistics, supply chain, and transportation operations comply with all applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes in transportation, trade, customs, and supply chain.
  • Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure logistics operations and supply chains adhere to laws and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance programs for all logistics operations, including transportation and fleet management.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to optimize the scalability and flexibility of the logistics network.
  • Collaborate with operations, management, and legal teams to identify gaps and ensure compliance in areas such as operations, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in internal and external compliance audits.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a compliance role with logistics or supply chain focus.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and driving regulations.
  • Familiarity with fleet management and international trade compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in compliance management systems and logistics software.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of fleet management and FMCSA compliance regulations.
  • Professional certifications is a plus.
