Your technical expertise and interpersonal skills will enable you to maximize customer service and contribute to a work environment of caring and cooperation.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, performing designated procedures and treatments within the LVN scope of practice.
- Utilize interpersonal skills to maximize customer service and promote a positive patient experience.
- Contribute to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population.
- Perform other duties as needed, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing.
- Minimum of six months of experience as an LVN required.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in Pediatric Pulmonology preferred.
- Able to read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality.
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and calibrate patient care equipment.
- Perform technical patient care activities as required.
- Use computer and software programs necessary to the position.
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
- Be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies.
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate.
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
- Think critically.
- Perform basic math functions.
- Manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Work well under pressure.
- Problem solve.
- Organize and prioritize workload.
- Recall information with accuracy.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Document legibly in medical records.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Active California Vocational Nursing license (LVN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- California Intravenous (IV) certification for designated areas preferred.
