We are seeking an Environmental Economist to join our team at Courseadvisor. As an Environmental Economist, you will be responsible for conducting economic analysis related to environmental protection and use of natural resources.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct economic analysis related to environmental protection and use of natural resources.
  • Evaluate benefits, costs, incentives, and impacts of alternative options using economic principles and statistical techniques.
  • Develop research project plans including budgets, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate study results, policy recommendations, or environmental consequences.
  • Identify environmentally friendly business practices.
  • Analyze market and environmental trends.
  • Collect and analyze data to compare the environmental implications of economic policy or practice alternatives.
  • Examine exhaustibility of natural resources or long-term costs of environmental rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Environmental Economics or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental economics or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Knowledge of economic principles and statistical techniques.

Salary Range

">

$140,000 - $200,000 per year.
