About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Installation Team Lead to join our team at BBSI. As a key member of our solar installation team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our residential solar installation teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all solar installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of solar installation technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate all aspects of solar installation projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring that all projects are completed to the required standard.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in solar installation, construction management, or a related field.
  • Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Outlook.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, climb ladders, and work in outdoor weather conditions.
