The Lead Construction Scheduler will collaborate closely with preconstruction teams, project management, field operations, and our internal scheduling department, as well as with subcontractors and project stakeholders, to assist in the development and oversight of schedules for various company projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of relevant construction experience in similar roles
  • Thorough knowledge of critical path method scheduling
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (P6 experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with claims prevention and analysis techniques is highly desirable
  • Ability to conduct constructability reviews for various construction methods during design or execution
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead the creation of detailed project schedules with input from project teams
  • Collaborate with project teams and leadership to establish project objectives and assess project status
  • Analyze schedules to identify duration and logical discrepancies
  • Coordinate with project teams to update schedules bi-weekly and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct impact assessments for potential delays and changes
  • Report overall project progress to leadership
  • Supervise additional schedulers assisting in schedule development, updates, and reporting
  • Conduct site visits for on-the-ground progress assessments
  • Manage associated document distribution
  • Explore integration with Procore and present information to subcontractors in accessible formats
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
