Heavy Civil Fueling Technician

Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM plus additional hours as necessary.

Position Overview
As a Fueling Technician, you will be responsible for driving and operating a fuel delivery vehicle that transports various fuels, oils, greases, and filters to construction sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Utilize tools and equipment while adhering to work and environmental regulations to fuel, lubricate, and change filters on machinery involved in highway construction projects.
  2. Interpret and comply with manufacturers' guidelines regarding vehicle maintenance and fueling procedures.
  3. Employ compressed air grease guns, wrenches, and various hand and power tools effectively.
  4. Perform adjustments on clutches, brakes, and other mechanical components of construction machinery.
  5. Maintain detailed logs documenting the servicing of equipment for preventive maintenance records.
  6. Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  1. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Fuel Truck Driver.
  2. Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
  3. Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) is mandatory.
  4. HAZMAT Endorsement is required.
  5. Tanker Endorsement is necessary.
  6. Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
