About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a critical role in driving our company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Develop and manage the company's annual budget and financial forecasts, monitoring budget performance and variance analysis.
- Supervise the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting principles, developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, providing strategic financial advice and support for business decisions and investments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems; familiarity with manufacturing industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
