This is a highly visible leadership position within a global manufacturing company, reporting directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions, managing a team of 4 individuals and having the opportunity to add additional headcount within the next 6 months. The CFO is seeking a seasoned professional with full runway to own the accounting and finance functions, drive digital transformation initiatives, and make strategic decisions with direct impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage 4 direct reports, including staff accountants and AR/AP functions
Assist in strategic financial planning and conduct internal financial audits
Drive digital transformation initiatives and continuously improve financial processes
Prepare reports and analyses, and communicate results to leadership
Build and maintain relationships with banks, external auditors, and accounting firms
Optimize cash flow and tax strategies
Manage the budgeting process, capital expenditures, and business insurance
Engage in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Plan for cost reduction and ensure costing accuracy
Oversee asset management and manage cost accounting activities
Support organizational structure and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop roles and plan for succession within the team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
10+ years of accounting/finance experience
Manufacturing experience, with a focus on cost and inventory management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
