Memory Sub-System Performance Architect

As a key member of the Infrastructure IP Team at Qualcomm, you will play a critical role in defining and designing platform infrastructure hardware components, including memory controllers, system cache, and interconnects. Your expertise in system performance analysis and optimization will drive the development of cycle-accurate and approximate models, enabling the team to identify performance bottlenecks and improve system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with experts in CPU, GPU, display, camera, and other domains to understand cache usage requirements and drive architecture and design decisions.
- Model and analyze system cache, replacement algorithms, and features to optimize performance.
- Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architecture and features.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of product requirement dashboards, CPU/GPU/MISC benchmarks to identify memory bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in memory subsystems to ensure solutions and deliverables align with best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- Or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- Or PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
