Job Title: Memory Performance Architect

Our client, a leading global semiconductor company, is seeking a highly skilled Memory Performance Architect to join their Memory System Design Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance, with experience in designing and optimizing system-level cache, DRAM interface standards, and memory technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize memory system architecture to meet power, performance, and implementation targets
  • Develop and implement tailored memory systems, validating functionality and improving design revisions
  • Collaborate with architecture, modeling, silicon, software, and other design teams to create a competitive design
  • Familiarity with system cache, memory controller, or DDRPHY for safety and security
  • Knowledge of recent ARM processor architecture and micro-architectures, as well as AMBA AXI, CHI, and LPDDR4/5 interfaces/protocols

Requirements:

  • Experience in computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance
  • Design experience and knowledge in architecture, RTL design, performance analysis, and power optimization
  • Experience in designing and optimizing system-level cache
  • Experience with DRAM interface standards and memory technologies such as DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR3, LPDDR4, LPDDR5
  • Familiarity with system cache, memory controller, or DDRPHY for safety and security
  • Familiarity with recent ARM processor architecture and micro-architectures, as well as AMBA AXI, CHI, and LPDDR4/5 interfaces/protocols
