We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Adjust patient care based on age-specific needs.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, minimizing hazards to patients.
- Position patients for optimal imaging, protocol, and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
- Train new technologists and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Participate in quality control procedures and maintain accurate logs.
- Order radiology supplies and participate in annual surveys and inspections.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology technology.
- Registered/licensed with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience in hospital settings preferred.
