Security Operations Manager

Position Overview: Security Operations Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff within our resort. The Security Operations Manager is essential in overseeing the safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and managing the communication systems effectively.

All team members are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Key Responsibilities

  • Protect property and personnel from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.
  • Conduct thorough patrols of the resort facilities; check doors, windows, and gates to confirm security.
  • Address individuals who breach rules, such as loitering or possessing prohibited items.
  • Manage incoming calls and coordinate the dispatch of Security personnel.
  • Monitor guests leaving the premises to prevent theft of company property.
  • Record details of incidents and accidents, and carry out investigations as necessary.
  • Utilize electronic patrol systems as directed by management.
  • Follow established emergency procedures diligently.
  • Monitor air traffic communications.
  • Handle lost and found items appropriately.
  • Oversee drop safe operations.
  • Focus on fire and hazard detection and prevention.
  • Foster positive interactions with guests and team members.
  • Implement accident prevention measures, First Aid, and CPR as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
  • Experience in firefighting is advantageous.
  • PA Act 235 Certification is beneficial.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational capabilities and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
