Job Description:

We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Fort Richardson, Alaska. As a Benefits Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and resources to beneficiaries of our service members.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Advise beneficiaries on entitlements, including Servicemember's Group Life Insurance and Death Gratuity.
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure families are informed about Survivor Benefits.
  • Analyze and communicate statutory changes affecting benefits.
  • Collaborate with Casualty Assistance Center staff and federal/state agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Specialized experience in casualty affairs, benefits coordination, or equivalent fields (GS-7 level or higher).
  • Relevant graduate education in fields such as Mortuary Science or Insurance Management (combination of experience and education considered).
  • Ability to secure and maintain a T3/Secret clearance.
