Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our treatment team at Gandara Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, establishing open communication, and ensuring accountability among workers and consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, empowering residents with the skills needed for lasting recovery.
  • Oversee the supervision and training of all program staff, including hiring, terminating, promoting, evaluating, and disciplining as needed.
  • Develop and implement accountability systems for staff and clients, ensuring competent and complete shift coverage.
  • Prepare and submit monthly client attendance reports with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to program and agency policies and procedures, facilitating client participation in daily activities.
  • Assist in annual program planning and report writing, monitoring personal effectiveness in implementing job functions.
  • Plan and oversee effective administration of the program, including developing written procedures, program monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate and participate in SHA Quality Assurance Review, conducting long-term planning of program goals and objectives.
  • Develop systems to monitor the quality of all program activities, reacting positively to change and handling other tasks assigned due to changing environments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to providing high-quality services.
