Position Summary:
As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of our production facility, ensuring that production timelines are adhered to and that products are created to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and enhance production processes to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and uphold product quality.
2. Ensure the availability of essential resources, including raw materials, machinery, and workforce, to achieve production goals.
3. Guarantee compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other pertinent industry standards.
4. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams to prepare for and manage audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
5. Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and implement necessary changes for ongoing compliance.
6. Establish and manage effective quality control systems to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer expectations.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes to reduce defects and ensure product consistency.
8. Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular audits, and ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations.
9. Implement and oversee environmental management programs to comply with environmental regulations and sustainability objectives.
10. Lead efforts to minimize waste, emissions, and energy consumption within the plant.
11. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff, conducting regular performance reviews and creating development plans.
12. Manage the plant's budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and compliance.
13. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for enhancement.
14. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
15. Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Business Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on motivating and developing a diverse workforce.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, emphasizing continuous improvement.
