Job Summary

The Housing Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including individual apartment units and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
  • Assist with unit turnovers and prepare vacant units for new residents
  • Conduct snow removal and other seasonal tasks as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on safety policies and procedures, and adhere to all applicable regulations and laws
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license and active auto insurance required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
