Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The successful candidate will research and hire contractors as needed to complete tasks and ensure maintenance staff begins work on time and is briefed on priorities and assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardize routine preventative maintenance program for individual production assets and assign maintenance staff to perform routine duties.
  • Assist staff in correcting issues that require follow-up and complete all maintenance staff performance reviews in a timely manner.
  • Sources ways to simplify tasks for maintenance and recommends changes and implements as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and welding tools.
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers, solid state motor drives, overhead traveling cranes, and hydraulic circuits.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and MIS systems and technologies.
  • Ability to organize and multi-task.
  • Knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Management systems, MP2, and 5S.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
