We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced dental hygiene professional to join our team as an instructor at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. As a dental hygiene instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the growth and development of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in dental hygiene courses, including classroom and clinical settings.
- Foster a conducive learning environment and provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
- Stay current with instructional methodologies and engage in ongoing professional development, including CEUs when required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment tools.
- Participate in campus activities and events, such as graduation ceremonies.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of a CODA-accredited program.
- A Bachelor's degree required (in any field) with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene required.
- Current and unencumbered dental hygiene license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a hygienist.
- Current CPR certification issued by AHA.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments.
- Current knowledge of the specific subject being taught.
