At Charles River Recreation Inc - Paddle Boston, we provide a supportive outdoor work atmosphere, competitive compensation, and the possibility of ongoing employment throughout the year in collaboration with various recreational programs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily activities of the rental center, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to supervise dock staff and oversee water sports rentals.
  • Assist customers on the water and at the dock, including cashier duties.
  • Prepare equipment for tours and ensure all rental gear is in good working condition.
  • Maintain the facility's appearance and uphold high standards of customer service for a diverse clientele.
  • Work independently, as shifts may not always align with the Manager's schedule.

Qualifications:
  • A genuine love for the outdoors and water activities.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • Experience in managing staff and proficiency with computers.
  • Previous experience in the outdoor industry is preferred; current CPR and basic First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Multilingual abilities are a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Full-time availability required, including weekends.

Compensation:

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, plus an annual bonus. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions are available, along with benefits.
