Per Diem Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care to our critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical patient care to all assigned patients on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain BCLS/ACLS Certification and annual program requirements.
- Possess the required competence in the area of assignment within the guidelines of the position description.
- Complete the necessary orientation program as coordinated by Nursing Education prior to engagement.
- Comply with all institutional regulations as would a full-time employee.
- Maintain telephone accessibility for control of assignment.
- Notify the unit or care center office of any changes in contact information.
- Submit a letter of resignation at least two weeks ahead of effective date.
- Master's degree program designed to prepare a registered nurse to provide acute/primary health care services or the successful completion of an approved supplemental education program, i.e., post-Masters NP certificate.
- Relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable): RN License, CNP License, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, PALS.
